1. What is VerVise?

VerVise is an online survey site that rewards you for offering your opinions to businesses.

2. Who are the users and businesses on the site?

Currently only NYU, Pace University, and The New School students, faculty and staff, and local businesses in downtown Manhattan, can sign up to use our site.

3. What makes VerVise different from other online survey sites?

If you answer a survey in good faith, you are GUARANTEED the offered reward. If the reward is a discount, you are under no obligation to purchase. Most importantly, unlike almost every other online survey site, VerVise is ad and spam-free.

4. How do I find surveys to answer?

Click on the “Get Reward” button of any offer on the site, and get started. Before you choose to answer a survey, make sure to see the details of the reward offered so you can be sure you know exactly what you're earning. You can also sign up for a weekly email describing currently available rewards and surveys.

5. What kinds of rewards can I obtain?

The reward a business offers is totally up to its discretion. It could be a discount; it could be a give-away; it could be something special with no dollar amount. Whatever it is, it's guaranteed.

6. How do rewards work, and how do I know I will be rewarded?

After completing a survey, you will receive an email with a coupon for the reward offered. (You can also access the coupon from our site.) Simply present the coupon to the business issuing the survey via paper or your smartphone or tablet, and the reward is yours. As for being rewarded, that's the founding premise of VerVise.

7. What is the point of providing personal information on the site?

The personal information you provide to businesses helps them put your survey responses into perspective and allows them to serve you better.

8. How is my personal information treated?

All of the personal information you provide to businesses is anonymous and consensual. You have total control over your information, and you can be certain you won't inadvertently end up on an email list.

9. No ads on an online survey site? So how does VerVise make money?

For users, the site is completely free. Businesses who issue surveys to users of the site pay to make the surveys available and to receive survey responses.

10. Just out of curiosity, where does the name VerVise come from?

The name VerVise is derived from Latin roots meaning “to see truth.” It's pronounced like surmise.
